Office and Human Resources Supervisor

Outstanding Supervisory Opportunity in a great community working for Evergreen Metro District. You’ll help to energize and shape a culture of superior customer service and to create and sustain a reputation of being a great place to work!

We are currently hiring for a full-time Office/Human Resources Supervisor. This position reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for performing the daily administrative and operational functions of human resources and payroll for a 40+employee public organization, while also supervising front desk, administrative and accounting staff. You must enjoy rolling up your sleeves and working in a busy, team environment, maintaining excellent customer service, meeting tight deadlines and possessing a positive, contagious attitude. You will be working on projects and supervising staff requiring a high degree of responsibility with minimal supervision. At the same time, your daily duties will also include answering phones and managing the front desk, customer contact, and accounting and general office supervisory functions. You must be able to interpret and analyze data, solve complex problems and maintain confidentiality at all times.

As the Office and Human Resources Supervisor, you will spend approximately 50% of your time on Human Resources, Payroll and Risk Management; 30% of your time on Office Supervision; and 20% of your time on other administrative support functions.

Qualifications: A high school diploma is required and a degree or certificate in Business, Accounting, or another related field is preferred. Minimum three years of experience in a professional office setting supervising full-time staff and providing administrative support to management. This may run concurrent or be in addition to a minimum of two years of Human Resources and payroll administration experience. Related education may substitute towards required experience. Basic accounting skills and proficient Microsoft Office skills required.

Starting salary range is $55,000-$65,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Evergreen Metro District offers an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, paid time off, and pension contributions.

Field Technician position available with Evergreen Metropolitan District in our Collections & Distribution Department. Duties are primarily outdoors performing maintenance on the water and sewer pipe systems including line inspections, locates, valve exercising, documentation, and operating equipment to repair and maintain main lines.

Class A or B CDL license or ability obtain within the first year required. Ability to lift 50 pounds required. Computer skills, mechanical aptitude, equipment operating experience, or experience with water & sewer systems preferred.

Starting salary range is between $15.00-$17.00 depending on qualifications and experience. Evergreen Metro District offers an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and pension contributions. Employees are eligible for pay increases for passing state certification testing and after completing a 90 day introductory period.
